Twilight Sparkle gives Rarity her wings and everything is right in the world. We all know Rarity is the one who always wanted to be a princess, and she's had wings before ... and the Destiny Switching spell didn't seem to affect Twilight ... or did it? ;)

Yes, I am aware that these are regular pegasus wings, not the special "alicorn wings" they use in the show, and I know she "should" have grown a bit too and whatever, blah blah blah, I'm not listening! If we're going to have alicorns all over the place then frankly I prefer some variety, and I like the idea of "pony alicorns" vs "horse alicorns". To me, Celestia and Luna have always been horses, and so it just seems wrong to have Twilight (or Rarity in this case) grow bigger, because that'd make her a horse, not a pony, and I can't be having with that kind of nonsense!

So I'm giving them regular pegasus wings, and you can't stop me! :P

This makes perfect sense! Twilight was groomed from a very young age to take this position. Only she passed all the tests, only she created her own magic, only she can bare the responsibilty, but Rarity WANTS IT MORE, so there you go.

I do not agree with this picture. Giving wings to Rarity, no matter how much she wants them, can only do wrong. Why? Because fame will get over her head: She'll care more about her wings and herself, than her friends thus, alienating her element and her friends as well. Heck this is even the lesson taugh in Sonic Rainboom! If you give her wiongs again, you can be sure she'll get into trouble.

Thereofre, I think you have a good style, but the idea behind your picture is crap.

I think I posted my response to a similar argument somewhere, basically: So she'd have to learn a lesson and grow as a character, I don't see that as a problem, I see it as an opportunity for a story :)

This makes seance. Rarity wants to be close with the Canterlot Eilte, and what could make her closer to that then being royalty? Twilight just wants to be a regular unicorn. Problem solved.
